Our Church

The congregation of Grenloch Presbyterian Church is made up of welcoming, loving, faithful people who try to be the best Christians they can be while creating an environment for others to do the same. We have a rich history with a congregation who is always willing to accept the next member. We embrace all walks of life, and would love to see our little church grow.

Our Pastor:

Marian Carmical

Reverend Marian Carmical has served as Covenant Call Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church

of Grenloch since May 2022. She was born and raised in southeastern North Carolina and is a

lifelong Presbyterian. She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament at New Hanover

Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsville, VA in September 1997 where she served as Associate

Pastor for Administration, Education, and Programs. She has also served churches in North

Carolina and Louisiana. She is a graduate of East Carolina University (B.S.B.A. degree with a

concentration in Accounting) and earned her Master of Divinity from Union Theological

Seminary and her M.A. in Christian Education from Presbyterian School of Christian Education

in Richmond, Virginia.

Marian lives in Pittsgrove with her husband, Ed Boyce, who is the Pastor of Pittsgrove

Presbyterian Church. They have one son, William. In her spare time, Marian enjoys reading,

quilting, and making beaded Chrismon ornaments.
